What CRA and Etsy say
- Etsy says Canadian sellers enter tax IDs in Shop Manager › Finances › Legal and tax information › Canadian Taxpayer IDs. [Etsy Help]
- If you have added a GST/HST or QST ID, Etsy will not collect those taxes from Canadian buyers on physical goods; Etsy says you should adjust listing prices to collect required taxes and remit them with your own filing. [Etsy Help]
- Etsy says GST/HST-registered sellers are charged GST/HST on all seller fees, and suggests speaking with a tax accountant about whether you can reclaim tax charged on fees. [Etsy Help]
